Activity: Water play
Get a few containers of different sizes (buckets, bins, plastic boxes) and fill them with water. Give your child a plastic cup so they can move water around containers. You can also sink objects in the containers and get your child to “fish” them with the cup or by hand. Playing with water helps children develop eye-hand coordination and learn math and science concepts. Talk and ask questions to your child during the activity to encourage language development.
